| The WB-FR Standard Fire Rated Access Door with a plaster bead trim for use in plaster
walls and ceilings. Accommodates 3/4" of plaster.
Construction Specifications:
Door: 18 ga. steel
Frame: 16 ga. steel, 3” wide perforated flange
of 24 ga. galvanized material for mounting purposes, space
from expanded flange to the 1/4” safety edge of the door
accommodates 1” plaster, 2 1/2” deep
Insulation: 2" thick mineral wool (THERMAFIBER®), in between two
pieces of 22 ga. steel
Hinge: Fully concealed, pivot rod type hinge. Allows
opening to 140°
Latches: Self-latching direct action latch, accepts both key and
knurled knob,
Automatic Panel Closer: Furnished on all doors. Vertical
position only. Ceiling position requires self-assisted closing
Inside Panel Release: Furnished on all doors
Finish: Grey baked enamel coat
Ceiling Installation: To comply with current fire regulations,
largest size acceptable is 24" x 36"
