The WB FR-RDW 870 Series Recessed Drywall Fire-Rated Access Door for Ceilings is a durable, fire-rated recessed access panel designed for installation drywall ceilings in applications where fire resistance and a fully-concealed appearance is required. Featuring 22 gauge steel construction with a satin coat finish, door is fire-rated for 1 1/2 hours in horizontal installations. In addition, door is shipped with a 5/8″ fire-rated drywall panel pre-installed and along with its concealed, a tape-in flange, is perfect for luxury areas where matching the door panel to its surroundings is desired.

Description

The WB FR-RDW 870 fire-rated access panel is available in a variety of sizes including 12×12,16×16, 18×18 24×24 and 24×36. In addition, custom sizes are available upon request. Door features a fully-concealed hinge and mud-in drywall flange. In addition, this self-closing and locking panel includes an automatic spring closer, knurled knob lock with a removable key and an interior release so it can be opened from the inside.
