Fire-Rated Access Door Mounts Directly to Wall Surface with No Recessed Framing Required!

WB FR-SMP 840 Series Fire-Rated Surface Mounted Access Door for Walls is a durable, surface-mount flush access panel for wall installation that is an ideal solution for applications where there is no room for a framed opening and fire resistance is required. Featuring heavy duty, 16 gauge steel construction with a white baked, paintable enamel finish, door is fire-rated for 2 hours in vertical installations. Mounting holes located along the flange make mounting easy. In addition, door is laser cut from one sheet of cold rolled steel with no corner mitering to improve visual aesthetics.

Description

The WB FR-SMP 840 fire-rated access panel is available in a wide variety of sizes including 6×6, 8×8, 10×10, 12×12, 18×18 and 24×24. In addition, custom sizes are available upon request. Door features radius corners, a semi-concealed hinge, stainless steel cam latches to prevent rust, and an exposed flange. In addition, this self-latching panel includes an 1/4″ Allen key operated lock and an interior release so it can be opened from the inside.
